Capacity analysis

The Community of Maastricht uses Flow-Tronic non-contact flowmeters for capacity analysis of the sewage network

The Community of Maastricht started a long term measuring campaign on the main sewer pipes to study the behaviour of the waste water network.

The first campaign will last one year to monitor a sewer pipe with a diameter of 1200 mm just at the entrance of the wastewater treatment plant.

The non-contact radar flowmeter measures changing water velocity as well as the water level. Additionally it also measures the occasional surcharge of the sewer pipe concerned.

Data is collected and remotely transmitted by GPRS modem. A complete report may hence easily be made with all numerical results and nicely presented in graphics.
