The Community of Maastricht will use the Flo-Dar flowmeter to monitor the sewer pipe network of the town.

The Community of Maastricht started a long term measuring campaign on the main sewer pipes to study the behaviour of the waste water network.
The first campaign will last one year to monitor a sewer pipe with diameter of 1200 mm just at the entrance of the waste water treatment plant.
The Flo-Dar measures the changing water speed as well as the water level, even so the occasional surcharge of the sewer pipe concerned.
The data is wireless transmitted and collected by GSM modem. This way a complete report may easily be made with all numerical results and nicely presented in graphics.
