In North of Italy, like in many other countries the wastewater plants are charging the users on base of the water volumes entering into the stations. Important users are of course the municipalities.

The volume of wastewater varies in function of the seasons. These
municipalities have in fact two important "high seasons" because of their
touristic orientation. During winter and summer seasons, the volumes flowing
through the pipes to the plant are much higher than during the rest of the
year. The installation of reliable flow measuring nets is in this case of
the highest importance in order to calculate the taxes for the different
users.
We sold, delivered and installed in this part of Italy, where people speak ... german, about 40 complete stations. The larger nets are located in Merano, where 17 stations are functioning and in Sterzing with 8 units.
Because of the well known mountainy relief of the region, many suppliers contacted by the municipalities to demonstrate the efficiency of their products could not respond to the wishes of the customers. With the FLO-DAR, measuring without contact with water, Flow-Tronic could even get convincing values in extreme conditions.
